Leather Shine
Our Leather Shine formula will naturally clean, restore and beautify your leather without the use of manmade waxes or harmful chemicals. Great for boots, purses, belts, leather gloves, baseball mitts, saddles or anything else made of leather. Made with pure bee and carnauba wax and lanoline, this product penetrates leather to restore the natural oils, waterproofs, moisturizes and protects. Can also be used on rubber and hard plastic to restore luster.
Dispense a drop of the balm with the sponge (black surface) and apply it on the leather surface. Turn the sponge and polish until glossy with the opposite side. Do not use on suede leather.
Ingredients:
Bees Wax
This is a natural wax produced in the bee hive of honey bees
Carnauba Wax
Also called brazil wax and pal wax, is a wax of the leaves of the palm Copemicia prunifera
Lanoline
Comes from squeezing the sheep's harvested wool between rollers. Lanolin's role in nature is to protect the wool and skin against the ravages of climate and environment - it also seems to play a role in hygience.
Vegetable Oil
This product is derived from plants
Vaseline
Is made from petroleum. It is used as a lubricant
Glycerine
Glycerine is a humectant, meaning it attracts moisture. Glycerine is obtained from fats and oils during soap and fatty acid production. It is non toxic and has no known environment effects
Parfume Oil
Is a mixture of fragrant essential oils/or aroma compounds
I love using this product on my daughters school shoes where they continually come home scuffed. Fabulous to use on leather couches (especially restoring old couches and rejuvenating the original colour) - see below.
The results speak for itself!

Did you know .....
People are discovering fabric softeners are some of the most toxic products made for daily household use. They contain chemicals (like chlorofilm, benzyl/acetate and pentane) that are known to cause cancer and/or damage to lungs, brain and nerves. These chemicals are even more dangerous when heated in clothes dryers. The toxic fumes then go into the neighborhood air and everyone for blocks around is forced to breath them in.
Fabric softener chemicals are made to stay in clothes fibre and slowly release for a very long time. That slow release of chemicals into the air affects the health of whose wearing the clothes and of people around them. Some symptons caused by fabric softener fumes are, tiredness that is not cured by resting, difficulty breathing, nervousness for no known reason, difficulty concentrating and remembering, dizziness, headaches, sick stomach, feeling faint.
Looking for a solution. Try out Norwex Magnet Ball. Comes with a 5 year warranty.
How and why does the Magnet Ball work?
Hard water is water containing a high level of calcium, magnesium and other minerals. Hard water reduces the cleansing power of soap and produces scale in hot water lines and appliances.
The idea of the Magnet Ball is that by passing water through a magnetic field, the calcium and magnesium ions are altered in such a way that they lose their ability to cause scale. Although the water is not technically soft, it has the useful properties of soft water, which has a number of benefits; it won't reduce the effectiveness of your laundry soap, or dishwasher detergent, and is effective in reducing scale buildup in your pipes, which improves energy efficiency and reduces cost. The Magnet Ball tricks your hard water into thinking it's soft!
Doug Greene from Magnetizer Industrial Technologies, Inc. says:
"I would agree that ion exchange reduces hardness from a chemical standpoint and magnetic water treatment does not remove hardness; however, magnets reduce the impact of the hardness minerals which is why magnetic water "acts" like soft water, since the negative effects of the minerals are controlled.
The fact remains that salt softening brine discharge has been banned in many areas due to the negative environmental impact and more and more plumbers are offering magnetic treatment systems as an environmentally sensitive alternative."
Can I use the Magnet Ball in a front loading washing machine?
Magnet Balls are NOT recommended for front load washing machines for a couple of reasons...
1. They actually aren't necessary as front load washers already require such a small amount of soap and the amount of water passing through your machine is minimal
2. There is some concern that because of the way the water circulates in a front loader, that they could possibly damage the inside of the drum OR the glass on the door.
Are there any other places that I can use the Magnet Ball besides my washing machine?
The Magnet Ball can also be used dishwashers (on the bottom shelf), toilet tanks (to reduce hard water build up in your toilet bowl), and I have even heard of some people who use them in their tub while drawing a bath! Reduce the amount of diswasher powder by half and eliminate Rinse Aid from your wash cycle as you will find the magnet ball does a fabulous job.
Do I need to clean my Magnet Ball?
Yes, it is a good idea to periodically clean the inside of your Magnet Ball. This is especially important if any member of your family works in an industrial setting, where they may get metal filings in or on their clothes (eg. welders). The Magnet Ball will draw these out of the water and into it's center, and unless the ball is cleaned out, these metal filings will rust. To clean your Magnet Ball, simply run a microfibre cloth through the center hole of the ball a number of times, until you notice it is coming out clean.

Norwex Mattress Cleaner
Wow what a winner of a product!
When your mattress isn't clean, on a microscopic level, it can look like a swarm of bees around your head when you sleep. Dust Mites are the culprit! While perhaps not the only cause, these little critters can cause snoring problems and breathing difficulties when sleeping.
There are 15 different species of mites that have been found living with us in our homes. Just one ounce of common house dust can host as many as 42,000 dust mites. Approximately 10 million dust mites live in a bed, 8 million in a mattress and 2 million in a pillow. We never sleep alone.
The primary food source of dust mites is dead skin cells from humans (which accounts for approximately 80% of the dust in a home). They also eat fungus that grows on rotting dead skin.
Dust mites and their faeces can become airborne simply from walking across carpet, sitting on furniture cushions, climbing into bed or moving a pillow while sleeping
Inhaled faecal matter can lead to eye-ear-nose=-throat infections, headaches, fatigue, depression, sleep difficulties, snoring and respiratory illnesses such as sinusitis, allergies and asthma attacks.
So you want some help?
First you must understand that dust mites cannot be completely eliminated from indoor environments. It is possible however, to effectively control their numbers with regular use of the Norwex Mattress Cleaner!
How it works:
Norwex Mattress Spray contains the dormant or resting stage of live bacteria. When they find a good source, and other growing conditions are right, the bacteria become active and they will grow. To eat they produce enzymes that are in a type of protein. It is the enzymes they produce while eating that break down accumulated dust mites, dust mite faecal matter, pet dander, dead skin cells, or any organic matter which causes unpleasant odours, allowing this matter to be consumed,
They will continue to consume this material until all organic matter is removed, converting it into carbon dioxide and water. Once there is nothing left for them to feed on, they disintegrate. Similar to our other ënzyme-based"or microbial products, our Mattress Cleaner does not "kill"anything (including dust mites). It works by eating up all of the organic matter that the dust mites would feed on, as well as the accumulated dust mite bodies and faecal matter. No food = no more growth of mites.....at least for a while.....until there is more food. The overgrowtth of the good bacteria at the expense of the dust mites is called competitive inhibition. We simply add enough "good guys"to be sure they out compete the "bad guys"
The spray is safe for children and pets because there is nothing in it different from what is around us on a daily basis. We are surrounded by a micro-world of bacteria and other microbes that keep each other in balance, and this same micro world exists on our skin, in our mouth, and throughout our body.
The Mattress Spray does not contain acids, alkalis, or solvents, however it is important to use this product correctly.
How to use:
Shake before use. Spray once or twice on the pillow, 5-6 sprays on a single mattress, 7-8 sprays on a double bed, 9-10 sprays on a queen bed and 10-12 on a kind bed. Allow to air dry before making bed with clean sheets. If too much product is used (more than the mattress can absorb) it is possible that an allergy-sensitive person may react.
Treat bed once a month for the first three months, then every second month for allergy sufferers, otherwise every three months
The mattress cleaner has a two year shelf life and should be stored closed in a cool place.
Used for:
Beds, pillows, comforters, fluffy toys, upholstery, vehicle seats, pet beds, sofas and anywhere organic material collects

Norwex Oven & Grill Cleaner
Q: Does Norwex Oven and Grill Cleaner work?
Let's learn about this great product! This info comes directly from Norwex Head Office, but I've added my own experience in blue!
A: A resounding "YES"!!!
OVEN BEFORE.......
.....OVEN AFTER NORWEX OVEN and GRILL CLEANER!
I love the results from this story so much I had to steal it from one of my colleagues.
It's unfortunate, but these pictures don't really do justice to the disgusting state of my oven before the cleaning....the camera just wouldn't capture the full ickyness of it. This oven is older than me, and obviously doesn't have the "self-cleaning" feature of the newer models. (NOTE: the Norwex Oven Cleaner CAN be safely used in a self-cleaning oven - just don't use the self-cleaning heat and the Norwex Cleaner together!)
I'm a little embarassed to admit that I've only cleaned it 3 times in our 11 years of owning it! I have a very good reason though - I HATE using the toxic, corrosive, and stinky store brand oven cleaners, and would rather have a dirty oven than subject myself (and family) to Easy Off Oven Cleaner fumes. Standard oven cleaners contain lye, petroleum distillates, and glycol ethers. They are also usually sold in aerosol cans. These are horrible for our health and the environment. The chemicals found commonly in the standard oven cleaners are so toxic and caustic, they can cause burns to your eyes, mouth, throat, skin on contact - not really something that I want to be using in the place where I cook food for my family to eat! SCARY!
Even though my past experiences with the Norwex products have been great, I'm still always skeptical the first time I try a new Norwex product. With the Norwex Oven and Grill Cleaner I was REALLY skeptical! Really, how effective could a chemical free product be a removing years worth of burnt on food? Well, as it turns out, the Norwex Oven and Grill Cleaner did it BETTER and FASTER than any other store brand product I've tried - no joking here folks - I am thoroughly impressed with this Norwex product, and would recommend it to anyone with burnt on food problems!
Here are a couple of pictures of my favorite frying pan, that needed some TLC - this is a Paderno Pan, and what the pictures don't show is that the bottom of the pan is made up of hundreds of tiny grooved rings (kind of like a finger print). Once food has gotten in there and burnt on, it is impossible to scrub off, even with a spirinett!

BEFORE
AFTER
Let's learn about this great product! This info comes directly from Norwex Head Office, but I've added my own experience in blue!
- Self scouring action means less scrubbing when you clean ovens, broilers, hoods, pots, pans and fryers
- Effectively removes baked-on fats, oils, grease, proteins and carbohydrate residues of animal and vegetable origin
- ODORLESS, so there is no fear of breathing harmful fumes! HOWEVER, I found that this does have a bit of a "spray-back" effect - there is a very fine mist in the air depending on volume used that lingers for a bit, and although it's non-toxic, it will cause you to cough and sputter and sneeze if you breathe it in! So I recommend either using a little mask or just holding your breath while spraying. It was also helpful to have the oven hood fan on while I was cleaning.
- Water-based, non-caustic cleaner safe for use on stainless steel, ceramic, chrome, Formica®, plastic, iron, aluminum.
- Bio-based, natural and biodegradable - this non-corrosive formula contains enzyme formulation.
- pH 9 creates an alkaline solution (non-acidic). Although it's non-corrosive, I still chose to wear gloves while cleaning. I have very sensitive hands, and didn't want to risk a reaction. So to my customers, I would also recommend latex/rubber glove use.
- Concentrated formula: Saves money - cost is only a fraction of most ready-to-use products. This is absolutely true! Although the price seems rather high at $38.50 the bottle will last for many applications. Because of the scary state of my oven, I decided to clean it twice. I also did numerous pots and pans with it, and I still have at least half of the bottle left.
(NOTE: although highly concentrated, the product CANNOT be diluted. It does not mix with water well, and loses its cleaning efficacy quickly when diluted.)
- Preheat oven to 100°F (38°C) and turn off before applying product. Pre-heating the surface will energize the microbes and enzymes to work faster. NOTE: Don't over heat your oven! I did accidentally, and when I sprayed the cleaner on, it evaporated on contact! Surprisingly it still worked well, but it worked much better when my oven wasn't too hot and the cleaner remained nice and wet on the surface!
- Apply undiluted Oven and Grill Cleaner to top of oven first, then to the sides, and lastly to the bottom.
- Allow cleaner to work for 5-10 minutes. If you've let it sit too long and it's dried, simply use a spray bottle with water and mist the surface again - it will make wiping up the mess much easier.
- Wipe with damp envirocloth and rinse thoroughly with potable water. Stubborn deposits may require more than one application and a scrub with a spirisponge or spirinett.
- After cleaning, heat oven to 200°F (95°C) for 10 minutes prior to use.
- While grill is warm, use spatula or flat blade to remove excess grease and food deposits.
- Apply undiluted Oven and Grill Cleaner onto the grill - allow to work for 5 minutes.
- Lightly scrub with a spirinet, then rinse surface completely with water.
- After cleaning, heat grill to 200°F (95°C) for 10 minutes before using.

Norwex Cleaning Paste
★ ★ ★ ★ ★... Yes, here we have another 5 star Norwex Product!
Norwex Cleaning Paste - INGREDIENTS:
A little about the Norwex Cleaning Paste:
Norwex Cleaning Paste is an environmentally and skin-friendly cleaner that replaces all of your chemical abrasive cleaners, like Jiff. This polishing agent cleans, polishes and protects in one application. It contains absolutely no poisons, phosphates or acids.
It can be used on surfaces and materials made of...
How to use: The
Material from http://www.healthy-home-cleaning.com/cleaning paste is not creamy or shakable - it's hard and compact in the container. The best way that I've found to use it, is to take a damp Kitchen & Bathroom Scrub or Enviro Cloth and wipe a small amount from the container. Rub the cleaning paste onto the surface you want to clean and polish. Rinse afterward with water, and a clean enviro cloth. The result is a clean, shiny surface that lasts.
WARNING: While the Cleaning Paste is very gentle, you should always test on an inconspicuous surface if you are concerned about the possibility of scratching.
The Norwex Cleaning Paste is a must have for your bathroom (great for really stubborn soap scum, rust stains hard water spots and build up), and of course for your kitchen (sink, stove top, pots and pans, stainless steel appliances). I have found that the Norwex Cleaning Paste not only cleans my kitchen sink - getting rid of all the build up - but it also prevents the build from returning as quickly and my sink stays cleaner longer.
At first I thought that maybe I was just overly enthusiastic about Norwex, and therefore imaging this, so I decided to do a little experiment:
I cleaned one side of the sink with Jifft, and the other side with the Norwex Cleaning Paste. Both did a great job of cleaning, but the test was "how long would the sink stay clean"? After about a week, it was clear that the Norwex Cleaning Paste did indeed help protect the surface of my sink from "holding onto grunge" - the Norwex side was cleaner after a week of use. I'm not sure which of the 4 ingredients is responsible for this lovely benefit - I'm thinking maybe the coconut oil???? But it doesn't really matter - the point is, it works and works very well!
I've had some customers say that they would love to try it, but at $34.45 for a small container, it's just too expensive. I thought the same thing before I bought it. Because the paste is so compact, there isn't the tendency to use too much for the job. I have just had to replace my home container after having it for nearly 2 1/2 years. It lasts far longer than it's store alternatives and is so much better for your health - a very economical and effective purchase!
